I am eye challenged. These binocs give me excellent image quality for my viewing of the mountains and ocean from our patio here in Costa Rica.
The only weakness of them is the Mickey Mouse lens covers. – George Lundquist  (Costa Rica)-
These binoculars are well balanced and nicely made. the lenses are sharp and bright. Could use better lens caps particularly on the eye pieces. I will have a better idea of their performance after my January trip to Costa Rica. – Jeffrey Bruce Mackler (Hickory NC)-

Buying these binoculars was quite possibly my best online purchase ever. I bought them about two years ago after a friend got me into birding… I settled on these because they were relatively inexpensive, durable, and lightweight, and because they came with the imprimatur of the Ornithology lab at Cornell–which considered them one of the best two or three pairs of entry-level binoculars. I have not been disappointed once.  -Richard Johnston (Cambridge, MA United States)-
I have a $2,000 pair of Zeiss, and a friend of mine has a pair of Swarovski 10×42. Last night we were looking at a reflection 152 yards out (pitch black) and we could BOTH see the object the same way, and these Nikons were $1700-2000 cheaper. You won’t be disappointed. -Don Cooper “Don C” (Houston, Texas)-
