Nikon pushes its optical technology in its All Terrain Binocular line with features that will benefit the hunter serious about low light performance.

The new Nikon Monarch X 8.5×45 Binoculars series with 45mm objective lenses provide larger exit pupils for increased low light performance, while maintaining the balance and comparable weight of many competitors’ 42mm models.

Available in 8.5×45 for the ultimate in light transfer and 10.5×45 for an ideal combination of power and performance. Fully multicoated optics for multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds on every glass surface for bright, vivid sight pictures.

Durable and protective, rubber-armored coating provides a non-slip grip, wet or dry. Flip-down objective covers keep lenses from being scratched when not in use.

I am eye challenged. These binocs give me excellent image quality for my viewing of the mountains and ocean from our patio here in Costa Rica.
The only weakness of them is the Mickey Mouse lens covers. – George Lundquist  (Costa Rica)-

The price is great, the quality is excellent, and if they hold up to their all-terrain name, you have a fairly complete package. The optics are great. The lenses pick up lots of light and present a very clear picture. This also makes them nice for star-gazing. You can easily see stars not visible to the naked eye. This is exactly what I was looking for, a good, durable, and sharp pair of binoculars for mountain walking, wildlife spotting and sporting, amazing image quality, a lot of chromatic aberration but thats common on this products. 100% recomended.   Dikson Avila Rojas
